St Augustine’s Church News: Thank you! Many thanks to everyone who supported the ‘World’s Greatest Coffee Morning’ in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, that was held at the Anchor Cafe on Tuesday 4 October. Thanks to the many generous donations, £209.60 was raised for this worthy cause. If you weren’t able to be there, but would like to donate to Macmillan, there is a special code, just for St Augustine’s, that will allow you to donate via text on your mobile phone: Get your friends and family to text our code, BUN 9TQN to 70550 to donate £5. (Texts cost £5 + your standard network charge.) Thanks.

Children’s Trail: The local Decorative and Fine Arts Society have offered to produce a trail for the church. A sheet will be available in the church to guide children round the church and garden with a series of questions. An explanatory answer sheet for adults accompanying the child will also be available. This is part of a national initiative overseen by the national society, so it will be done to high standards and will take some time to arrive. The two ladies undertaking the work have visited, attended a Tapestry Talk and been given information about the church and church life. You may come across them as they make further visits. Should you be in Wivelsfield church, you can get an idea of what we can expect, as they have recently completed their first trail there.
