The Martlets Shopping Centre in Burgess Hill treated shoppers to a bustling Home & Gardens Fair on Saturday 7th March with a range of shabby chic homeware and garden themed delights from both local companies and The Martlets’ stores themselves.

Visitors were able to visit the Sussex based shopping centre in order to peruse and purchase a wide range of items from businesses such as Janice Collier Designs, Khandi, Rustic & Charmed, The Martlets regular market trader Just Add Water and Jennifleur florist.

From brightly patterned cushions to stunning clocks and candles, the fair provided anyone looking to either makeover their home or simply find a sweet Mother’s Day gift with a fantastic range of products to choose from.

For those with ‘green fingered’ friends and family, local company Just Add Water’s gardening set hampers and Jennyfleur florist’s selection of fresh flowers and plants provided even more gardening goodies for shoppers.

What’s more, with live music from local brass trio Faustus and shabby chic demonstrations courtesy of Martlets resident, Rocking Horse Antiques, there was no shortage of décor delights and weekend fun for Burgess Hill residents.

Ian Goodridge, Centre Manager of The Martlets Shopping Centre, commented:“We are delighted with the success of our Home & Gardens Fair. With the sun shining throughout the day, it was clear to all that spring is finally starting to show – and the event provided shoppers with the perfect chance to discover a range of unique items perfect for home and garden improvements on offer in the local area. I hope everyone who attended the fair enjoyed themselves and we look forward to hosting even more upcoming entertainment for our residents soon!”
