My view is this: not even the most experienced geologists or engineers know exactly what is under our feet.

They do not know how water moves exactly or where it goes exactly. All wells leak eventually and to put chemicals that kill any organisms into the ground and potentially the water course must not be allowed.

Add to that the fact that these are fossil fuels they are extracting therefore adding to global warming. Add to that the damage to the beautiful countryside. Add to that the air pollution. What does it all add up to? Huge profits for a few, misery for local people for many years to come and irreparable damage to our country.
