I would like to extend a big thank you to the Parish Councillors of Hurstpierpoint and Sayers Common.

They have given so much time and effort into creating a Neighbourhood Plan that should help protect our beautiful rural villages, and is likely to be the backbone for fighting against the Mayfield Market Town proposal. I do understand that some residents feel as if the plan does not suit them, however, anyone voting NO to the plan will not be stopping any development in Hurst that has already been granted permission by MSDC, they will be demolishing the flood gates and allowing a tidal wave full of development linking Hurst with Burgess Hill, and leaving the whole Parish open to the Mayfield Market Town. Vote YES to the Neighbourhood Plan, and help protect our rural communities.
