I would like to congratulate all those responsible for the two wonderful pantomimes, namely Puss in Boots at Haywards Heath (Weald Theatre co) and Sleeping Beauty at Burgess Hill. (Burgess Hill Theatre club).

Both shows were highly entertaining. I had the good fortune to go to both of them in one week. I wanted to support our nearest one, and my handicapped son needed escorting to the Burgess Hill show.

What great fun it was for an oldie aged 73 to pretend to be six, and shout out the boos and cheers with the young ones and not so young. The party from my son’s Gateway Club really enjoyed the Burgess Hill panto. We hope the theatre club will find somewhere else to perform when the Martletts is demolished. One again thank you to everyone involved .
