Have your say

Just looked at my Middy (14th of May) and noticed nothing seems to have been mentioned about UKIP and its good results in the local elections.

Whilst I know that the Tories won every seat on the Mid Sussex District Council and all bar one on the Burgess Hill Town Council, I think it is of particular interest that, although the majority of wards in Burgess Hill had never had a UKIP candidate before, this election resulted in a number of 2nd and 3rd places here for UKIP, showing the excellent level of support from local residents.

I stood for Dunstall ward in Burgess Hill, came second to the Conservatives and had many people thanking me for standing and allowing them the opportunity to vote UKIP at town and district level for the first time.

Thank you to all those who voted UKIP.

Tim Cooper

UKIP candidate, Burgess Hill
