BURGLARIES and a case of criminal damage, are crimes highlighted by police in Adur this week.
Smashed windowPOLICE spotted a man being chased by a group of people in Fishersgate at 2.20am on Saturday, October 4.
Upon investigating, they discovered the man being chased had smashed a window at the Albion pub, in Fishersgate Terrace.
A 20-year-old, from Hove, was arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and subsequently given a caution.
Co-op break-inCASH was stolen in a break-in at the Co-op store in Royal George Parade, Shoreham, overnight on Friday, October 3.
The money was stolen from the shop's ATM machine between 10pm on Friday, October 3 and 6am on Saturday, October 4.
BurglaryJEWELLERY and a JVC digital camera have been stolen from a house in John Street, Shoreham.
The house's back gate was forced and window smashed to gain entry between 8.10am and 5.45pm last Monday.
