Adastra fall from grace

In the Mid Division top-table stoolball clash it was Barcombe who took the honours as Sara Hepple (88) led them to victory over Adastra, for whom Louise Carr (66no) was an unlucky loser.

Barcombe followed that up two nights later as Amanda Ridley (52) helped them win at Plumpton, while Adastra's downward spiral continued as they lost at strong challengers Ditchling.

But it is Ringmer who could over take all those above them by winning their matches in hand. They beat Ditchling and Wivelsfield last week.

Top individual score of the week was Carla Leach's 112 as Isfield won handsomely at Wealden, where team-mate Ali Chambers contributed an unbeaten 79.
