Fynn and Josh given Sussex Academy places

TALENTED all-rounder Fynn Hudson-Prentice and spinner Josh Hayward are two of five youngsters added to Sussex County Cricket Club’s Academy next season.

Hudson-Prentice started his career at St Andrews but last season made quite an impact playing for Haywards Heath in County League 2. He also scored a century playing two years above his age group for Sussex under-17s.

Hayward also caused quite a stir in his debut season for Cuckfield 1sts in County League 2. He is a left arm spinner

The new quintet join the current five members of the Academy, who include Lindfield seamer Abidine Sakande.

The others in the Academy are Ollie Graham, Elliott Hooper, Stuart Whittingham, Georgia Adams, Harry Finch, Callum Jackson and Tim Moses.
