Having not played much cricket in recent weeks due to weather Heath found themselves 40-6 after some early tight bowling from Park openers Clive Tong and Paul Brookes with some indifferent batting from the Heath top order. H

eath did try and rebuild through Charlie Mayne (40) and some good lower order support but still only managed a total of 106. This is the first time Heath have failed to post 200 at home so much work needed to be done with the ball.

In to the second innings Heath knew early wickets were key but the Crowhurst top order proved a tough nut to crack.

Heath were never really able to get into the game but did manage to pick up 4 wickets and gain a couple of valuable points.

A bad day at the office for the league leaders who now entertain Burgess Hill next Saturday, who have leapfrogged them in the table by 1 point.
