Burgess Hill Town have announced two exciting friendlies against Football League sides as the Hillians gear up for their first season in the Ryman Premier.

Chris Wilder will bring his League Two, Northampton Town side to the Green Elephants Stadium on Saturday 11th July (3pm) and four days later the Red Devils of Crawley Town will visit on Wednesday 15th (7.30pm).

The Hillians will kick-off pre-season playing Sussex County League side Loxwood on Saturday 4th July (game to be played at Ardingly College) and will play home games against Ryman League Division One South sides Peacehaven & Telscombe and Hastings United.

Despite the season just finished there is plenty of work going on behind the scenes as works on the pitch have started and next season’s prices have been announced.

General manager John Rattle said: “Over the past three seasons the playing surface has got better - but we are always looking to improve things at the club. We hope the work we are doing this pre-season will provide an even better pitch for our first season in the Ryman Istmian Premier League.”

Hillians admission and season ticket prices were announced last week for the 2015/16 (full details on bhtfc.co.uk). The club are giving discounted entrance prices for member of the 400 Club. For more information contact Dave Bradbury (thedavebradbury@gmail.com).

We are particularly excited with our offer of lower admission prices for both existing and new 400 club members

Rattle said: “We are particularly excited with our offer of lower admission prices for both existing and new 400 club members. Over the years, the 400 club has raised money for funding improvements at the club. It also gives members a chance of winning monthly cash prices and now the added bonus of seeing all home league games at a reduced price.”

The club’s end of season awards night takes place at the ground on Friday, May 22 from 7pm and is free entry with all supporters welcome.
