  • Second half goals from Lewis Hamilton and James Turner seal Midhurst’s win
  • Phil Gault equalised for Heath
  • Lee Wragg was Man of the Match for Ryan Andrews’ men

Heath will look back at a game that they seemed to be controlling until a crazy 7 mins handed all three points to the visitors Midhurst and Easebourne.

It was a lively start to the game with Heath kicking into the strong wind that blew across Hanbury and it took just moment for Midhurst to try their luck from distance but Ben Rose was equal to it and collected the attempt easily.

Heath then created several chances that they will look back on and wonder how they did not take the lead.

On 11 minutes the tables were turned and Midhurst made the breakthrough, finding some space through the centre Midhurst broke through on the right hand side of the Heath box and Andrew John Newton fired home past Ben Rose from six yards.

Heath immediately looked to get back on level terms as Nathan Cooper won the first and second ball and powered into the Midhurst box but his strike at the angle could only find the side netting.

The game finally started to settle down, Midhurst seemed to be playing to their strengths through the long ball which kept the Heath back line on their toes.

It was no surprise that on 37 minutes Heath found the equaliser. Lee Wragg worked hard in the middle and came away with the ball and time and space, he fed Phil Gault who created himself some space in the box and curled the ball into the far corner past the diving Midhurst keeper.

Heath started the second half well and some good inter change play between Nathan Cooper and Phil Gault saw the formers well struck shot well tipped over by the Midhurst keeper.

Heath created more chances but then the crazy 7 minutes began.

On 58 minutes Ben Rose took a free kick just inside the Heath half, and as Midhurst cleared the danger Rose has not recovered positionally and the long ball out found Lewis Hamilton who coolly lobbed Rose on the edge of his box.

James Turner then made it 3-1 before Hamilton got his second and Midhurst’s fourth to seal the win.

Man of the Match - Lee Wragg - looking more comfortable every week, worked hard in possession of the ball and showed good composure throughout the game.
