It was second-placed Heath welcoming third placed Chichester with three points separating the two sides.

After 90 minutes the positions remained the same but a deserved performance from the visitors saw the positions only separated on goal difference.

The visitors opened the scoring in the 16th minute when Heath keeper Josh James was not able to claim a ball into the box and the striker headed in to an open net.

The workmanlike performance prevented Heath from any real clear-cut chances and in the 53rd minute Chichester increased their lead with the ball moving from left to right and the midfielder was left all alone as he fired into the corner giving Josh James no chance.

It was game over in the 57th minute with the goal of the game that was brilliantly curled into the top corner off the underside of the bar from just inside the box.

The reserves visited Chichester reserves in their penultimate league match of the season but came away empty handed as they were on the wrong end of a 4-1 scoreline.
