Premier Division: Jarvis Brook remain on top of the Premier Division but their pursuers have all closed the gaps after they could only manage a goalless draw against Buxted in eleventh with the top four teams separated by just four points.

Second placed Balcombe are just two points behind the leaders as they beat Rotherfield 2­1, Smallfield remain unbeaten but a further two points back after a 2-­0 win against Forest Row and Aaron Walsh’s two goals helped Lindfield edge past Cuckfield Rangers to remain fourth.

East Grinstead United rose to eighth after a 3-­1 win against Peaceheaven United with two goals from Nicholas Haynes and a Daniel Lombardo strike while Abdulmajeed Alanazi secured Portslade Athletic’s second point of the season after they drew 1­1 with fifth placed Copthorne.

Championship

Simon Bristow’s brace helped AFC Haywards maintain their unbeaten record in the Championship following a 4-­0 victory over ninth placed Cuckfield Town.

Sean Ardley and Sheldon Grimes completed the scoring closing to within two points of leaders Dormansland Rockets.

AFC Ringmer have climbed above Ditchling into third following a 1­0 win over their opponents while two goals from substitute Joe Lyons saw Polegate Town climb into fourth position with a 3-­0 victory against eighth placed Framfield & Blackboys United.

Alex Pollard’s hat­-trick saw Sporting Lindfield claim their first win of the season after thrashing Furnace Green Rovers 5­-0, Luc Hancock and Michael Thorn with Rovers now occupying the bottom position.
