Burgess Hill Town have been handed a tough draw in the Semi Final of the Parafix Sussex Senior Cup.

The Hillians are just 90 minutes away from the Final to be played at the Amex Stadium, but must defeat Conference South high-fliers Whitehawk if they are going to make their first appearance in a Sussex Senior Cup Final since 1998.

The game will be played on Tuesday 3rd March at Lancing FC with Ryman Premier side Lewes taking on County League side Loxwood in the other semi-final.

Manager Ian Chapman said “obviously drawing Whitehawk in the semi-final of the competition wasn’t ideal and they were probably the one team everybody wanted to avoid, but in saying that in cup football anything can happen as we have already shown this season.”
