HTC invited all junior members to enter a competition to design their new logo.

The judges (Nick Turner, Marja van Dommelen and Toby Lott) had a hard time choosing between the entries. But in the end, two designs stood out.

The runner up was a traditional design that captured the long history of the club. The winning design impressed the judges because it was a bold and simple stylistic design. Club Chairman, Toby Lott said “It is ideal for the future as it portrays the energy and spirit of Hurstpierpoint Tennis Club.”

Over recent months HTC have worked with the winner’s picture and Stoats & Weasels graphic designer to taylor the new logo for all literature, shirts, paraphernalia and digital media including the club website.

The club hosted a prizegiving event last weekend and congratulated Luke Morris (winner) and Katie Driver (runner up). Luke received his prize of a new tennis racket and £50. Katie received a racket bag.

HTC wishes to thank all juniors who took part and submitted great entries to the competition.
