Eagles are hoping to swoop on some new coaches
BASKETBALL coaches are in short supply at Haywards Heath Eagles and chairman Howard Davies is making an urgent plea to recruit a few more.
“We are running out of coaches at the club and things are getting desperate,” he admitted.
They would love to hear from any qualified coaches but anyone prepared to offer their services will be welcomed and given full training on an England Basketball course.
The club are also looking for new players of all ages, although there is a more pressing need at under 12 level and seniors for the over 18s, who play as the Panthers.
Eagles attained the 3 star Clubmark accreditation last year and train in the Haywards Heath and Burgess Hill area. They run teams in the Sussex League at under 12, u14, u16 and u18 levels.
