A total of 26 schools were represented when the culmination of a winter’s cross country efforts was hosted at the beautiful Borde Hill Garden.

As part of the Mid Sussex Active primary schools competition, the best runners from schools in Mid Sussex, East Grinstead and the North Area rural came together.

First three in the girls race were Natasha Purchase (St Wilfrids, Haywards Heath), Izzy Deamer (Birchwood Grove) and Katie Hasting (Lindfield), while Martyn Box (Manor Field) won the boys race from Joseph Martin (St Peter’s, Ardingly) and Samuel Wright (Birchwood Grove). They are all pictured above.
