A teenager is setting the wheels in motion for an improved skate park in Hurstpierpoint, to draw people back to the site.
Jack Miller,14, says most local skaters his age are travelling to use the more advanced equipment in Burgess Hill.
The Downlands Community College pupil believes there are lots of people who would use the facilities in Hurstpierpoint if they were provided, he said: "There are a lot of skaters in the area. But most people go to Burgess Hill which is a lot harder because it costs money to get there. It would be so much easier to come down the road and skate in Hurst.
"We would like the park that had more ramps and it would be much better if more people came along."
