Celebrity chef Anthony Worrall-Thompson was greeted by hundreds of visitors at the opening of the new Co-op store in Haywards Heath.
Shoppers and local dignitaries expressed their delight in seeing the return of the popular food store to the town.

Mr Worrall-Thompson officially opened the shop in South Road with the help from town Mayor, Margaret Baker and Margaret Serdiuk, the daughter of Gladys Bunn, a popular local figure who was instrumental in the growth of Co-op stores.
