Cardiac patients are appealing for help after their accommodation closes in Haywards Heath.
The group, of more than 80 people, pay to attend weekly classes at Sawyers Health Club, to build their confidence and improve their fitness.

However, when Sawyers closes on June 1 the patients fear they may not find the replacement facilities they need.

Ian Parsons suffered a heart attack four-years-ago and doctors recommended he joined the group, which has turned his life around.

He said: "When I first came here after my heart attack I couldn't do anything. I had lost all my confidence and they built it up again. It has been very important to me and I am almost back to my original level of fitness.

"It would be a tragedy if we cannot find somewhere else. So many people have come along with different problems and it has improved their lives greatly."
