Topaz Baton Twirlers are celebrating after the success of four of their team members who won a total of 17 awards at the Irish Open Championships.
Caitlin Dewey, 10, from Burgess Hill was the star of the show, winning all seven of her individual events. She was also being named Irish Open Juvenile Top Twirler 2008.

Little Georgia Langston, five, from Hassocks also represented the club well, placing in both Basic Strut and then adding to this a second place in the solo dance section.

Adult team member, Hannah Mills, 21, also from Burgess Hill, nearly didn't make the competition after an injury but placed second in both solo and dance solo and was also the Irish Open Two Baton Champion, a title which she added to the NBTA National Two Baton Champion award won last October.
