His daredevil stunts on motorcycles and quad bikes received rapturous applause, injecting thrills and excitement for the crowd between the various parades and demonstrations in the main Ardingly ring.
Once again, the three day show, run by the South of England Agricultural Society at the showground in Ardingly, attracted huge crowds, with early indications suggesting that this year's attendance was at least a match for last year, thanks to three days of good weather.
In addition to perennial favourites such as the cattle parade, the horse and hounds demonstration and the show jumping displays, new features such as piggy pranks and the stunt display were a welcome diversion from judges and rosettes, particularly for younger visitors.
Towards the close of the show on Saturday, during the final of the Inter Hunt relay, there was an unfortunate accident involving a horse and rider. The rider suffered minor shoulder injuries, but despite immediate veterinary attention the horse could not be saved.
This aside, it was another memorable show for the thousands of people who attended. For details of other events at the Showground visit the website
