LINDFIELD artist Thomas Allen is celebrating further success after having his work chosen to show in a second national exhibition.
At the end of last year Thomas had one of his paintings chosen in the Sunday Times Watercolour Competition and saw it hung at The Mall Galleries in London.
He is now one of only a hundred artists to have a piece of work selected from more than 2,200 submission for the Natioanl Open Art Competition 2012.
His painting, a dipytch of two pieces coming together as one art work, is currently included in an exhibition at the Minerva Theatre, Chichester until October 21, and will then transfer to the Prince’s Foundation Gallery, Hoxton, London from October 24 to November 1, where Turner Prize-winning contemporary artist, Grayson Perry, will open the event.
