Veteran vehicles on the road

The annual Royal Automobile Club’s Veteran Car Run takes place this Sunday – the world’s longest running and, arguably, the greatest motoring celebration.

The event attracts motoring enthusiasts from all over the world on the historic 60-mile drive from Hyde Park in central London to the seafront in Brighton.

Veteran cars go through Mid Sussex on their way to Clayton Hill, where some are pulled up the steep slope by support vehicles before their descent into Brighton.
