The Archway Theatre Company has achieved sell-out success with its latest production, Fawlty Towers (July 14-25, 7.45pm).

Comedy fans have already snapped up all the tickets for the group’s take on one of Britain’s best TV sitcoms.

Hotel owner Basil Fawlty is impolite, intolerant and generally rude towards the guests he views as an unwelcome imposition. His wife, Sybil, is more practical, but seems to have an aversion to work. So, the running of the hotel is often left to the waitress Polly. Meanwhile, Spanish waiter Manuel is still struggling with English.

Only 12 episodes of the show were ever made and The Archway is presenting Communication Problems, The Hotel Inspectors and The Germans.
