Body found at side of A27 in Shoreham

A WOMAN has died after falling from the Mill Hill Bridge in Shoreham.
Police were called to the scene after a motorist saw what he believed to be a body by the side of the A27 near the flyover just before 5am this morning (Friday, August 8).

They found a woman with serious injuries who was taken to Worthing Hospital. She died shortly afterwards.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

The westbound carriageway of the A27 was closed for about two and a half hours, but has since re-opened.
