Two pedestrians crushed in Worthing car crash

A MAN and a woman were pinned to a wall by a car forced on to the pavement after a crash
The accident happened at the junction of Crescent Road and Shelley Road at 2.12pm today (Sunday, July 20).

Two cars collided, with one of them ploughing into three nearby pedestrians, wedging two of them against a wall.

Fire crews helped police clear the scene and both the man and woman victim were treated by paramedics before being rushed to Worthing Hospital.

The third pedestrian escaped serious harm.

The extent of the injuries is unknown.
