Two seriously hurt after A27 crash

A MOTORCYCLIST and a passenger were severely injured after a crash on the A27 between Patching and Durrington.
The accident happened at around 12.30pm today (Sunday, July 20), when a car collided with a motorcycle.

The motorcyclist and a pillion passenger were rushed to Worthing Hospital after the crash.

The driver of the car received minor injuries. The Sussex Air Ambulance was also called to the scene.

The crash closed the eastbound carriageway of the A27 while police investigated.
