FOR the fourth morning this week, traffic is backed up through Broadwater and along the coast as drivers try and avoid congestion on the A259.
Yesterday (Wednesday, May 21), Broadwater and East Worthing roads were in a gridlock situation, as drivers tried to reach the A27.
A member of the Herald team took this video after remaining stationary at the junction of Beaumont Road and Sompting Avenue for 15 minutes, with the car in neutral and the handbrake on.

Reporter Katherine McGlinchey took the A259 last night and faired no better.
It took more than an hour to reach Eastern Avenue in Shoreham.
