Acclaimed touring show comes to Worthing for Bank Holiday

The cast of the rock‘n’roll variety show That’ll Be the Day have revealed their new touring production. Having delighted audiences throughout the UK for 25 years, this year’s show sees That’ll Be The Day return to the road with a brand-new combination of feel-good comedy routines and hits from the 1950s, 60s and 70s.

The show was established on the cabaret circuit in the late 1980s and began playing regional theatres in the early 1990s. Now there are 230 shows a year across the UK. Trevor, who wrote and created the show in 1987, still directs, produces and stars in the production, rewriting it with new material every year.

The show has snowballed in popularity through the years, attracting new audiences with its mix of comedy routines and smash-hit records from past decades.

Each year the show raises money for a charitable cause, which is currently Help For Heroes which helps the wounded servicemen and women of Great Britain.

The show has raised over £65,000 for the charity to date.

Trevor said: “We’ve just celebrated the 25th anniversary of That’ll Be the Day and we can’t wait to bring people our brand-new show.

“Each year we do our best to raise money for charity but I have to say that the response to this year’s cause has been unparalleled.

“With everything going on in the world, it gives me and the cast great pleasure to know we are contributing to helping those who put their lives at risk on a daily basis.”
