Art inspired from travelling

Mary Hite and Jeanette Clarke offer their 19th annual exhibition and sale of original paintings, cards, prints and photographs at the Norfolk Centre, Mill Road, Arundel (until Friday, August 10, 10am to 5.30pm).

“Admission is free and you will be made most welcome,” Mary said. A donation will be made to cancer research.

“My work is often inspired from travelling around the world visiting different countries and enjoying their culture and wildlife. I also enjoy painting children and my seven grandchildren are often seen in my work. I use acrylics, watercolour oils and mixed media.

“I also am a keen photographer and some of my photographs will also be on sale. If you want to see some of my work please visit my website http://myweb.tiscali.co.uk/maryhitepaintings

“Jeanette enjoys working in line and wash, using both traditional and experimental techniques while also exploring ways of creating texture and playing with perspective and abstraction. Her favourite subjects are the lovely old buildings and churches of West Sussex constructed from local materials, allowing her to explore their construction and history.”
