Brighton-based illustrator offers new work as a fund-raising "love letter" to NHS
“I was trying to think of how as an artist I could use my skills to contribute right now. Why not use my creativity? I used the NHS blue colour to fade into the classic rainbow symbol, with a few carefully worded phrases about how I feel about the wonderful National Health Service. I guess it's kind of a love poem to the NHS. I have friends and family who work for the service, so it's very close to my heart.”
The art print reads “You are always there to catch me when I fall. From before my birth until my longest sleep. There for the joyous times and the sad. I'll support you wherever I can. I will love you forever.”

“It was quite a different piece for me. I usually work in a very bold graphic style but challenged myself to make something more subtle and poetic. I truly think our health service in the UK is incredibly special and it's definitely the right time to remind ourselves of how we need to cherish and champion it.
“I wanted to create an accessible piece of art, that would work right now, but be just as lovely on your wall once this crisis is over, nothing too expensive but still a great amount to go to charity.”
“It's a Limited Edition piece, only 250 signed and numbered copies to be made, so it's pretty special. I'm really hoping it will make several thousand pounds for charity if people get behind it!”
