“New for this year is a Pimm’s, Prosecco and wine bar, a whole host of food on offer with five new food stalls, and a designated, secure car park with free overnight parking.

“As always, we offer something to entertain all the family. Our dedicated Kids’ Zone is open until 6pm, with bouncy castle and assault course, including our kids’ tent offering games, activities, crafts and face painting.

“Tickets cost £10 in advance (includes a drink) or £12 on the day. Under-18s are £6 and that includes unlimited access to all activities in the Kids’ Zone. Under-ones are free. In order to purchase tickets using PayPal or for details on local ticket outlets please go to www.loxwoodbeerfestival.com.

“Last year the festival raised over £10,000 for Loxwood Pre-School, thereby supporting the continued development of facilities for the local children who attend.

“The pre-school has been transformed thanks to this support and is proud to have achieved an Outstanding Ofsted rating.”

Juliette added: “The Audacity kicks things off at 1.20pm with a seamless fusion of dance songs, old and new. British singer songwriter Hannah Dorman and her band are up next with emphasis on pop, rock and a dusting of country. Lyrically mature, Hannah delivers her songs with catchy melodies and a driven rhythm section.

“Noble Jacks are a rip-roaring alt-folk band with roof raising energy and whose warm electro-acoustic interactions fuse together with a mixture of upbeat folky foot stompin’ rhythms and engaging lyricism.

“Next up are Iolar playing new and traditional folk with brushes of country and a touch of bluegrass all with harmonious tones and haunting musicianship.

“Half Hour Hotel burst into the evening sessions – a passionate English indie band playing a mix of originals and covers.

“They will be followed by firm favourites, Throbbin Hood. Mad as ever and thoroughly entertaining with superb musicianship.

“Everyone loves the ’80s, and Synthony 101 will deliver a barnstorming set that is guaranteed to get any crowd up on its feet, dancing and singing along to classics by some of the biggest artists of that decade.

“Continuing the ’80s theme, only this time changing genre, Iron Tyger, are a covers band formed to deliver classic ’80s rock with passion and dedication. The band’s charismatic take on the fun and excitement of the ’80s, combined with a catalogue of iconic tunes has prompted sparkling responses from audiences across the UK.

“With over 25 years’ experience The Blunter Brothers have become established in the entertainment industry as one of the premiere classic funk, Motown and soul acts in the country.

“We are truly fortunate to have such a fabulous band to entertain us!”

There will be ample parking in and around the village on May 14.

Motorists are asked to be respectful towards Loxwood residents when parking and when returning to the car later.
