The ELO Experience have been recreating the fabulous sounds of Jeff Lynne and The Electric Light Orchestra for many years in Theatres across the UK and their popularity has grown at an incredible rate.

They have recently received the accolade of being named the Official UK number one tribute show in their category, and will be presented with a trophy at the glittering four evening event at the Garrick Theatre in Lichfield, Staffordshire to be held at the end of October. This is the Tribute industry’s equivalent to the British Music Awards and is being organised by The Agent’s Association (Great Britain).

An industry spokesman said: “As well as this show being stunningly accurate with the delivery of the music and the vocals, it is a fantastic ‘feel good’ experience with great audience participation and all done with an element of fun.

“Anyone who sees this show cannot help but want more of the same, and many people will visit time and time again to get their fix of great music and pure entertainment.

Frontiers Records released three albums in April – Electric Light Orchestra Live and two reissues, ELO’s Zoom (re-mastered and including a brand new track) and his debut solo album Armchair Theatre (also re-mastered, with two new brand new tracks).

The songs and arrangements have stood the test of time and still sound like modern productions. The ELO Experience perform all the hits in their show.

The band line up includes two cellists, along with the three guitarists, a keyboard player and a drummer. Strings and vocals are key features in the arrangements, with many songs requiring four part harmonies.

Tickets for the show cost £20. Call the box office on 01403 750220 or log on to www.thecapitolhorsham.com.
