Horsham’s Capitol faces busy spring

The season also offers the chance to take a trip back to the summer of 63 to relive Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey’s sizzling performance in the ultimate coming-of-age romance, A Night Of Dirty Dancing (February 3)

Jackson Live (February 11) sees Amir Sharma’s portrayal of Michael Jackson in his prime, and then on February 24, you can put on your fancy dress and sing your heart out in Sing-A-Long-A Grease Friday.

Join Gerry Marsden in a musical journey through the life and times of one of the greatest 60s icons in Gerry Cross The Mersey (February 26). Forever In Blue Jeans (March 16) offers music from the rock ‘n’ roll 50s, the swinging 60s, the groovy 70s and some great country songs. Little Belter (April 1) sees Elouise take on some of the biggest, most difficult show-stopping melodies ever written, performing torch ballads by the likes of Barbra Streisand, Judy Garland and Dusty Springfield.

Returning to Horsham, The Rat Pack Is Back (April 14) is the longest-running Rat Pack tribute show in Europe. Superstar vocalists Blake (April 27) also bring their live show to Horsham.

On the comedy front, Jim Davidson The Legend! (March 22) offers an evening of near-the-knuckle stand-up comedy. The Barnstormers comedy night returns to The Studio on Sundays January 22, February 19, March 18 and April 15 when resident compere Kevin Precious introduces three top acts from the London circuit to tickle your funny bones.

Men Are from Mars Women Are from Venus (March 17) is the bestselling book adapted into a stage spectacular. Author Pam Ayres returns to Horsham with An Audience With Pam Ayres (March 27), following the publication of her autobiography The Necessary Aptitude. Her show includes a selection of new poems and stories, as well as some audience favourites.

Count Arthur Strong’s Command Performance (April 5) follows.

Enjoy An Evening With Jimmy Greaves (February 23), England’s greatest-ever goalscorer. Greaves tells stories from a great career in football and TV. Star of BBC’s Autumn Watch, Chris Packham is back in Horsham with his new show Chris Packham Goes Totally Wild (February 12). Continuing with the wildlife theme, Bill Oddie Un-Plucked (April 24) goes behind the scenes with TV’s favourite wildlife man.

Ian Dickens Productions return with an all-star cast in Ron Aldridge’s The Haunting Monday February 27- 29, a psychological, supernatural, erotic thriller, with comedy a nightmare journey through the mind of a double murderer.
