Nick Field premieres new show at Brighton Fringe
The Cosmos, The Cosmetics, written and performed by Nick, will be at The Marlborough Theatre from May 20, 21 and 22 at 6pm. Tickets £7/5.
Nick grew up in a quiet Hampshire village. From the moment he discovered that orange squash could make fantastic lip tint, he knew he was going to have to search for a place to belong.

“Nick creates a vivid portrait of a young man coming of age as the 20th century offers a swan song of underground music, culture and outfitting. He has been mono-chromed in Goth clubs, fluorescent in new-age field parties and expelled from the pastels of Winchester royalty.
“A world premiere, it is entirely fitting that this show opens in Brighton as a mecca of alternative cultures. Woven with tales of an eccentric rural youth and poetic meditations on the nature of skin and memory, this is spoken word theatre at its most thrilling.”
Nick is a poet, performer, playwright and harpist. He has had plays produced by theatre companies including Royal Court Theatre, Paines Plough and Theatre Royal, Plymouth. He has performed his poetry at venues across the UK.
