Composer, arranger and gifted pianist, he has brought together an outstanding trio of master musicians for the club, with Steve Thompson (double bass, singer and composer), who, according to Ken Peplowski, is “one of the few double bass players in England to get a proper sound out of his instrument!”

Rod Brown, on drums, handbeats and percussion, shaped his technique under the tutelage of the legendary jazz drummer Phil Seamen. Rod has recorded with Caravan, Renaissance and also with Clare Teal.

Steyning Jazz Club meets at Fletcher’s Croft at 8.30pm. Doors open at 7.45pm.
