Quartetto appear

Fell Clarinet Quartet was formed at the Royal Northern College of Music where its members were awarded the professional performance diploma with distinction, the College’s highest accolade for chamber music performance.

Since leaving college the group has enjoyed a varied career, giving recitals and workshops throughout the UK. The group was appointed woodwind ensemble in residence at the University of Salford and was the recipient of a Tunnell Trust Award leading to a recital tour of Scotland.

As well as giving recitals at the Purcell Room in London and the Bridgewater Hall, Manchester, the Quartet has worked extensively as part of Live Music Now! and is regarded as the flagship ensemble for the scheme in the north-west of England. Their debut CD was named CD of the month by MusicWeb International and they have appeared on BBC Radio 3 and at major festivals throughout the UK.

For Steyning the Fell Quartet will be playing original works and arrangements by Farkas, Bartok, Piazzolla, Francaix and Gershwin.
