Show off your acoustic skills at The Black Dog

The event will take place at The Black Dog, Barnfield Road, Crawley.

Cat – originally from Indiana, USA , and now living in Forestfield – has recently released a CD of original songs.

The album, Pretty Red Shoes, has been receiving enthusiastic reviews and radio play.

Cat says there is a need for songwriters to get wider exposure and believes that a venue for this would require a suitable atmosphere and an enthusiastic host, both of which can be found at The Black Dog.

The opening Showcase takes place on Thursday, January 30, at 8.30pm and Cat plans to present it on the last Thursday of the month from then on.

A portion of the evening will be open for anyone to turn up and play, as well as three or four fixed acts on the night.

Cat is hoping all budding or established singer-songwriters will come, enjoy the buzz and help make the showcase a regular event.
