Special guests showcase forthcoming third album at Holbrook Club gig
Epsilon will be hosting an evening of progressive rock music at The Holbrook Club, North Heath Lane, on Friday, May 23 (7.30pm).
The musicians are well-known around Sussex for their re-creations of classic prog-rock masterpieces by Yes, Genesis, Pink Floyd, King Crimson and Marillion to name just a few.
Opening the show will be special guests hAND, who will be showcasing their forthcoming third album, Kintsugi.
It will be a welcome return to live gigging for hAND, who have spent the past year writing and recording for what promises to be their breakthrough album.
It’s also the first to feature Dan Thomas on drums and Tom Johnstone on synths alongside original members Kat Ward (bass, piano, vocals) and Kieren Johnstone (guitar). Epsilon guitarist and bandleader Mark Daly said: “I’m delighted to have hAND on the bill with Epsilon again.
“I’ve been a long-time fan and I’ve bought all their albums and T-shirts!
“I hope the new album will break them out from the prog-metal sphere where they have already received rave reviews to the much wider audience their talent deserves.“
Sound and lights will be provided by Aardavrk AV and the concert will be recorded on video by MoonEye Films Ltd.
Tickets are £3 on the door and the music starts at 8pm.
