Tuesday June 24, 10am: Meet at The Sussex Ox, Milton Street, BN26 5RL (GR: 123/TQ 533039) If using the pub after the walk, you may park in the lower car park. Deep Dean Access Land walk. Wednesday June 25, 7.30pm: Meet at the car park entrance to Burial Ground off Jane Murray Way (A273) (GR: 122/TQ 295188). West from Burgess Hill walk. Note: Sedgwick Castle via Nuthurst walk. Lunch available at the Black Horse. Described as “a gem of an English country pub”. 5 miles undulating and gentle climbs.

Sunday June 22, 10am: Meet in Amberley Station car park (121/TQ 026118). Walk via Amberley, Rackham Hill, Camp Hill, Peppering Farm, Arundel. Note: Castle walk. Could be wet under foot. Bring a packed lunch. Lunch stop has not been decided as yet. A 13 mile varied walk with some hills.

Monday June 23, 10.30am: Meet in the car park in Northbridge Street, Robertsbridge (nearby postcode TN32 5NY). The car park is situated opposite a bungalow housing the Mark Ripley Forge and Fireplace Centre (136/TQ 738239). Walk via Salehurst Park Farm, Udiam, Snagshall, Bodiam Castle, Bodiam (L), New House, Jollie’s Farm, Beach House Farm, Wennow Wood, Robertsbridge. Note: Castle walk. A 10½ mile gently undulating walk.

Tuesday June 24, 10am: Meet in the roadside opposite Sompting church. Park close to the side of the road. This can only be reached travelling east on the A27 or from Steyning on the Bostal road (121/TQ 162056). Walk via Lychpole Farm, Monarch’s Way, Steyning Bowl, Bramber Castle (L), Riverside, Botolphs, Annington, Steep Down. Note: Castle walk. An 11 mile rolling downland walk.

Wednesday June 25, 10.30am: Meet in the pay and display Pevensey Town Trust car park adjacent to the castle. Cost £2 per car all day (2013 price). (123/TQ 646048). Walk via Bridge Farm, 1066 Country Walk, Herstmonceux Castle, Wartling (L), Chilley Farm, Pevensey Castle. Note: Castle walk.
