Robbie Williams does not have mainstage support so the LG Arena has a stage in the Forum, giving new artists an opportunity to perform to 16,000 fans waiting for the main event.

Nathanael said: “It was the most amazing experience and so many people crowded ’round to watch.

“I loved that Robbie’s fans joined in when I sang Go Gentle and You Know Me.

“I am very grateful to Adam and Viewmygig and I can’t wait to do another show!”

Nathanael performed a 30 minute set, which included swing, pop and jazz. He was then invited to perform a further set of three songs at the end.

After the gig Nathanael was dubbed The Prince of Swing by Viewmygig, a title he is determined to live up to.

A year ago Horsham teenager Nathanael appeared in the TeenStar Grand Final at the IndigO2 Arena alongside X Factor’s Luke Friend.

Nathanael has had a whirlwind year going from strength to strength.

Earlier this year Nathanael reached the Grand Final of the national competition Star of Stage in Cardiff judged by Connie Fisher.

He was invited to join a group of young unsigned artists to record a charity single in memory of Fusilier Lee Rigby.

The group, Together in Harmony, is currently touring the UK to raise money for The Fusilier’s Aid Society.

Nathanael is also a member of National Youth Music Theatre’s 2014 Company and will originate the role of Henry Holgate in the world premiere of Benjamin Till’s new musical BRASS at Leeds City Varieties Music Hall in August, following his previous success as Action in NYMT’s West Side Story in Manchester last year.
