Barnstormers Comedy returns on Sunday, April 17, at 7.30pm.

This month’s performers include Andrew Watts, Marc Lucero and Brian Higgins.

A Barnstormers spokesperson said: “Andrew Watts has a distinctive style and very original material. His posh boy humour is intelligent without distancing himself from the audience.

“Lawyer turned comedian, Andrew is extremely likeable and invariably wins a crowd over as he canters, like an apologetic tsunami, through challenging subjects.”

Meanwhile, Marc Lucero is known for his inventive gags with Chortle claiming that his high quality material would “shame many a more successful act”.

The Barnstormers spokesperson continued: “Brian Higgins is one of the most experienced headline acts on the comedy circuit. He moved to London in his teens from a small fishing Village in central Scotland. Armed only with a penknife, catapult and a bag full of tadpoles he set out to make his fortune. Twenty years later he still has the penkinfe.

“Brian has a real passion for comedy, and it shows in an impeccably delivered cheeky upbeat set, which never fails to deliver the goods.”
