Capitol general manager Nick Mowat said: “Keith shot to fame on the BBC’s ground-breaking show Any Dream Will Do hosted by Graham Norton, when Andrew Lloyd Webber, assisted by West End impresario Bill Kenwright, Denise Van Outen and John Barrowman, searched for a new star of musical theatre to play the starring role in a new production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

“Keith was runner-up to Lee Mead and went on to appear as Joseph in the touring production of the show until May 2013.”

Nick added: “Born in Edinburgh in March 1988 Keith always knew he wanted to be a performer. From his early days at primary school and through to secondary school, he showed a natural gift for performing and played the lead roles in school plays many times. When he left school, he went on to study musical theatre at college before entering Any Dream Will Do which gave him his big break.

“In recent years, Keith has performed on Songs of Praise; BBC Radio 2’s Friday Night is Music Night; at Lord Lloyd Webber’s 60th birthday party to more than 60,000 people and released two albums.

“A pantomime veteran, he has performed all over the UK with his shows breaking box office records on more than one occasion. He has also toured the UK in concert and is about to embark on a new solo tour which will culminate in a concert at The Capitol following Cinderella in January 2015.”
