Trio perform traditional music with wit and charm at Horsham Folk Club

It’s a visit eagerly awaited by club members, says club spokeswoman Caroline Thomas.

“This group of multi-instrumentalists perform mostly traditional songs from around the British Isles in English and Welsh.

“Gathering material from sessions, published song collections and contemporary artists, these talented musicians are making a name for themselves on the UK folk scene for their beautiful harmonies, creative new arrangements and engaging live performances.

“They are rapidly gaining a reputation for their excellent versions of traditional folk songs, as well as for their great original material. Both are introduced with wit and charm.”

The gig starts at 8pm at Horsham Folk Club, Normandy Centre, Denne Road, Horsham, RH12 1JP. Tickets: £7 (members £5), under 21s and students free; available on the door from 7.45pm.
