Viennese gala to end year

The end-of-year celebrations begin with the Brighton Philharmonic Orchestra New Year’s Eve Viennese Gala at the Concert Hall, Brighton, on Saturday, December 31 at 2.45pm.

This year the event returns to a concert style, a format with which the Strauss family themselves would have been very familiar.

The orchestra is led in authentic Viennese style from the violin by concertmaster John Bradbury, who also introduces the programme from the podium.
