Chinese trade visit to Sussex

SUSSEX Enterprise, the Chamber of Commerce for Sussex, was pleased to host a visiting delegation from the JingJaing TainCheng Entrepreneur Association this month (September 7).

The team hailed from close to Shanghai and brought with them a group of businesspeople from manufacturing, construction and IT companies.

The Chinese delegation is very keen to establish trade links with Sussex and with Sussex Enterprise’s members. This first meeting laid the foundations for closer reciprocal links.

Gill Edinburgh, Director of Operations at Sussex Enterprise, said: “Rob Fryatt, a Board Member of Sussex Enterprise and Chair of the International Trade Forum, and I were delighted to meet with the Chinese delegation. We look forward to forging stronger bonds over the coming months.

“The Entrepreneur Association is keen to learn more about how a County Chamber such as ours operates within the UK. The entrepreneurs themselves are keen to invest in Sussex and work with our businesses going forward.”
