Burgess Hill Model Railway Club’s exhibition cancelled

Burgess Hill Model Railway Club’s annual show, which was due to take place on Saturday, September 5, has been cancelled due to Covid-19 regulations, and club activity has been restricted.

Terry Horner, chairman, said: “Our relatively small premises means attendance levels have to be restricted to a maximum of 3 persons so that social distancing and other safety measures can be adhered to.

“Our regular Monday and Wednesday evening gatherings are suspended until further notice.

“Next year is the 70th anniversary of the club and we hope to plan a bumper exhibition to celebrate on 4 September 2021.

“We can only wish for sufficient relaxation of the regulations before too long which will allow us to move forward and plan this event.”
