Football Foundation offers funding to clubs across Mid Sussex

Mid Sussex MP Mims Davies said: “I recently met with Robert Sullivan, the chief executive of The Football Foundation who gave me a brilliant insight into all the plans they have in store to improve facilities in West Sussex.

“Too many matches have been rained off and I am glad Football Foundation have recognised this problem and have an extremely passionate team with great funding and support behind them to help solve these issues.

Return to Football is funded by The FA and Sport England using National Lottery funding.

It is a £2.1 million investment to support FA Charter Standards clubs and not-for-profit community organisations in some of the country’s most deprived areas.

Its goal is to restart or create football activity. Return to Football also offers funding for disability leagues, FA Women’s National League Clubs and professional club community organisations.

The Grass Pitch Maintenance Fund is a new £14 million fund to help clubs improve or maintain the quality of their pitches.

The Small Grants scheme offers grants of up to £25,000 for items like goalposts or maintenance machinery.
